Forces launch nocturnal search operation in South Kashmir village

Pulwama: Government Forces in a bid to arrest more suspects allegedly involved in SMHS hospital shootout incident cordoned off Warwun village in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The village is adjacent to Kakapora where the previous night a Special Police team of Jammu Kashmir picked up 3 alleged militants and an Over Ground Worker in connection with SMHS hospital shootout.

Locals said that siege was laid around the village during midnight while thorough searches were conducted.

However, no arrests were made.

A police official said area was cordoned off after they received inputs about the presence of militants there.
