Friday prayers disallowed at Kashmir’s historical Jamia Masjid Mirwaiz blames PDP

Srinagar: Authorities today disallowed Friday congregational prayers at historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar.

Strict restrictions remained imposed in old Srinagar city to thwart any protest march in wake of Afzal Guroo’s hanging anniversary while Jamia Masjid was locked and nobody was allowed to enter into it.

Furious about the government move, Kashmir’s top cleric, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq took to twitter and said that this is the fourth time this year, when authorities disallowed Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid.

He added that PDP is at the beck and call of BJP and is helping RSS to implement its anti-Muslim agenda in Muslim majority state.
