Killing of militants spark clashes in parts of South Kashmir

Anantnag: Amid restrictions clashes erupted between protesters and deployed Government Forces at a couple of places in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district this morning.
Pertinently, 3 millitants were killed which include Eesa Fazli of Srinagar, Syed Owais of kokernag and a third millitant whose Identity is being ascertained in a gunfight in Kokarnag.
Authorities have already ordered the closure of schools and colleges in Srinagar and South Kashmir while Kashmir University and Board of School Education have postponed all the examinations scheduled for today. Reports said that groups of youth clashed with government forces at Ashajipora, KP Road, Lazibal and Batingo areas of Anantnag district

Forces retaliated with tear smoke shelling after protesters pelted stones on them.
Meanwhile a large number of people are moving towards encounter site.
Restrictions have been imposed in Soura area of Srinagar city, the native place of one of the slain militants. Restrictions have also been imposed in other parts of city.
