‘Kingpin’ involved in Kashmir hospital shootout joins ‘militancy’

Pulwama: The alleged militant who could be seen in a CCTV footage waiting for the arrival of Lashkar-e-Taiba Militant Naveed Ahmad Jath outside SMHS Hospital has reportedly joined militancy.

The photograph of Hilal Ahmed Rather of Begumbagh Kakapora has gone viral on social media networking sites with an assault AK 47 rifle.

The CCTV footage outside SMHS Hospital shows Hial Ahmed Rather waiting near hospital gate waiting for the arrival of LeT prisoner militant Naveed Ahmed Jath alias Abu Hanzulla.

The CCTV footage shows Hilal following the cops along with prisoner militant.

Two cops Head Constable Mushtaq Ahmed of Karnah and Babar Khan of Shangus Anantnag were killed in the shootout while the prisoner militant escaped from the custody.

Investigating agencies have reached at the conclusion that Hilal Ahmed Rather was the kingpin of the hospital attack.

Reports said that security agencies have already picked up his two brothers Javaid Ahmed Rather and Manzoor Ahmed Rather during a nocturnal raid at Begumbagh Kakapora.

Sources said that Hilal was an Over Ground Worker and now his purported photograph has gone viral on social media with an assault rifle.

Meanwhile, ADGP who is also serving as IGP Kashmir will address a press conference after sometime at Police Control Room Srinagar. He will divulge the information about the hospital shootout.
